Do you love teaching coding, robotics and other STEAM initiatives to students?
Sammat Education is looking to hire an energetic and experienced teacher who is seeking part-time employment and is interested in delivering our K-12 STEAM workshops in NSW schools.
The position requires the successful applicant to be an independent contractor working within schools participating in the delivery of student STEAM incursions (mostly K-6) and teacher professional learning activities in the areas of STEAM, robotics, coding, digital animation and various other educational technologies. These workshops primarily occur in the Sydney Metropolitan Area with occasional travel to Wollongong/Shellharbour, Central Coast, or Newcastle/Hunter regions.
An opportunity also exists to earn extra commission as a sales representative for our various educational software and hardware products. The ideal person will be comfortable with cold calling, scheduling and conducting demonstrations with decision makers, and fostering relationships for future revenue opportunities.
The successful applicant will work in a fun and supportive environment encouraging students to take thoughtful risks and engage in experiential learning. A flexible working schedule is available (2 days per week required at commencement) with the ability to earn extra income through sales and an opportunity to develop a network with key figures in the education sector. There is also a strong possibility of expanding this role with growth predicted in the business over the next 12 months.
